Pandora's Box

Can't deny that I am fall in love in Michelle's GPP Street Team :p

Ok, for this month, the challenge is Pandora's Box.

In Greek mythology, Pandora's box is the box carried by Pandora that contained all the evils of mankind — greed, vanity, slander, lies, envy, pining — and hope.

After Prometheus' theft of the secret of fire, Zeus ordered Hephaestus to create Pandora as part of the punishment for mankind. Pandora was given many seductive gifts from Aphrodite, Hermes, Charites, and Horae (according to Works and Days). Prometheus warned his brother Epimetheus to not accept any gifts from Zeus in fear of further reprisal. Epimetheus did not listen and accepted Pandora. Zeus instructed Pandora to not open the box but she was too curious and opened it. After the jar was opened all of the evils escaped and, after the lid was replaced, only hope remained in the jar.

I agree with Michelle...I think it is so cool that we are able to connect with "foreign" artists,no matter what country we live in; what would we do without the net?! I love that your journal pages contain emails, comments about work posts, etc. That is so cool and what a way to document the evidence!

Some people showed us kits, some showed us art made with them but you shared both. What a treat! It's great to see what fellow artists are doing around the world.
